LONDON ECCO Mens Cheja Sandals Warm Grey Olive Oil Australia , April 6 (Xinhua) -- It's been described as one of the world's greatest sporting events, the ultimate test between jockey and horse, the Grand National.
This Saturday, 40 horses will compete over the 3,600m course with a worldwide audience of around 600 million tuning in to watch the drama unfold at the famous Aintree racecourse in Liverpool.
But there is one mountain still to conquer for any aspiring participant - will a female jockey ever win the world's greatest horse race?
One woman who thinks the answer is a resounding Yes is jockey Katie Walsh. In the 2012 race Walsh came third, separated from the winner by a distance of a tantalizing 12 meters. It was the best ever finish in the race's history by a female.

I look back now, sometimes you think 'If I'd done this, or done that' - no one has watched that DVD more than me. It definitely came to a point where I thought I was going to win."

Walsh has been made an ambassador for Aintree and on Friday, Ladies' Day at the three-day Grand National Festival, she will host a Grand Women's Summit bringing together females from the sport of horse racing.

It's estimated a quarter of Britain's adult population will place a wager on the race, many people trusting luck by sticking a pin in the race card to select their choice.

PHNOM PENH, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen warned Wednesday that a security measure will be taken if the opposition party activists cause violence during the commune election next month and the national election next year.
Speaking at an event commemorating the 10th National Veteran Day here, the prime minister said that he will order the armed forces to crack down on them immediately if they incite violence during the upcoming elections.
"If it (crackdown) breaks out into war, let it happen," he said. "We will not allow (them) to burn down cars and destroy public order again."

BEIJING, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Growth in China's fixed-asset investment (FAI) continued to ease in the first nine months of the year, data showed Thursday.
The FAI rose 7.5 percent in the first nine months of the year, down from 7.8 percent for January-August, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
This marked a growth deceleration for six consecutive months. The pace was also 0.7 percentage point lower than the same period of 2016.
Infrastructure investment, which accounts for more than 20 percent of total FAI ECCO Transit Slip On Moon Rock Australia , surged 19.8 percent year on year during the period. High-tech manufacturing saw investment up by 18.4 percent.
Private sector investment grew 6 percent in the first nine months, accounting for 60.5 percent of the total, according to NBS. The pace of growth cooled from 6.4 percent for January-August.
